The Radiological Emergency Preparedness (REP) Program helps state, local, and tribal governments plan, train, and prepare for incidents involving commercial nuclear power plants. Federal regulations in 44 CFR Part 350 outline FEMA’s role in assessing and issuing findings on emergency plans for radiological emergencies at these plants.
